In the mood for interesting choices
along with a comfortable ambiance, I headed to an old favorite...
Mimi's Café, a family styled restaurant with a lovely French flair.
The aroma of their delectable muffins washed over me as I entered
this very busy eatery. I was quickly seated and began to scan the large menu. The choices here are terrific with something for everyone. I've tried at least half dozen of their entrées and several of their appetizers and never been disappointed. |
| The fettuccini with chicken, feta
and pine nuts is always a good bet... Their pot roast has become
legendary! The soups are great... I particularly like the French
onion. Good burgers are also found here and for a quick pick me
up - a Mocha Latte. The kid's menu has a wonderful selection, from PB & J to Quesadilla. Additionally, the kid's service was exceptional... upon being seated, they're brought a hand wipe, bib, assorted snacks such as cheerios, orange slices and crackers (somebody in management has kids), along with crayons and puzzles. |
| The desserts are exceptional and
worth saving room for. Fast, warm and courteous service has been consistent as well as the plentiful servings in every dish served. A wonderful stop for a quick bite while shopping or for a family meal that isn't boring or expensive. Mimi's Café has several locations from California to Colorado. |
